Job Description
- To assist GM/Head of Project Management and Contracts Administration Division in the contract administration for the various contracts
- Prepare Cost Plan and Cost Estimates
- Establish and maintain BQ rates database
- Tender Documentation and Contract Documentation
- Advise/ensure compliance of contract requirements
- Draft and/or review contractual letters and emails prepared by other Technical Divisions
- Provide contract and costing support to other Technical Divisions
- Review various agreements in conjunction with the Legal Department
- Assess variations submitted by the contractor/consultants
- Assess validity of contractual / disputable claims
- Assess validity of Extension Of Time (EOT) claims
- Assist the Client in the dispute resolution process e.g. adjudication or arbitration
- Assist in business development activities e.g. preparation of tender proposals (RFP and EOI)
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) or Consultant Quantity Surveyor (CQS) certification.
- Minimum 15 years’ relevant experience in quantity surveying and contract management.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, construction regulations and various Conditions of Contract (FIDIC, JKR, PAM etc).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Candidates with international experience will have an advantage.
