Key Significance of the Project
An addition two blocks of 750MW gas-fired combined cycle power plants with a very high efficiency of about 56% replaced the previous inefficient and high gas-emitting conventional oil-fired plant. With a combined generation capacity of 1,500MW of Phase 1 & 2, the project would contribute 12% of total demand in Peninsular Malaysia.
