Senior Rail Alignment Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce horizontal and vertical alignment designs and drawings using Bentley Open Rail Designer.
• Plan alignments to address minimizing impact to existing infrastructure, social and environment.
• Manage drawing production and reports.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and methodologies.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or any related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil/structural engineering, with a strong focus on rail alignment and track design
• Extensive experience in design (plain line, switch and crossing) of railway track infrastructure project.
• Good knowledge of railway operations and permanent way and system (drainage, trackform, third rail etc).
• Proven track record of delivering complex rail infrastructure projects to a high standard
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
• Able to lead team of designers and drafting staff.
• Proficiency in the use of relevant design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, OpenTrack, and Bentley Rail Track
• Thorough understanding of rail industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
