Dato’ Major (R.) Ir. Wan Razali Bin Wan Muda obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Technologi Malaysia in 1977. He started his career with the ROYAL MALAYSIAN AIR FORCE (RMAF) as a Training Officer and was later promoted to Officer in-Charge of Aircraft Overhaul Department, Engineering Services Division and Technical Representative for the A-4 Skyhawk Project. He served the RMAF for eight and a half years, attaining the rank of Major.
In 1985, he joined AIROD Sdn Bhd as the Superintendent of Quality Assurance. Later, in 1986, he joined Daya Urus Sdn Bhd as a Senior Manager where he supervised the management and systematic maintenance of high-rise buildings managed by that company. Some of the prestigious buildings were Daya Bumi Complex, in Kuala Lumpur and Wisma Darul Iman in Terengganu. Subsequently, he spent two (2) years as a plant manager with Permint Mineral Sdn Bhd, the only gold mining outfit in Rusila, Terengganu.
He expanded his career with MTD Group of Companies in 1994 and was entrusted to manage the Company fleet operation in heavy machineries and highway consultancy. He later led the group Tollways Division which took charge of tolled highway concession of Kuala Lumpur – Karak Highway, East-Coast Expressway Phase 1 and East-West Link of KL-Seremban Expressway for 6 consecutive years. During his involvement with highway concessionaires, he was appointed as the honorary secretary for Persatuan Syarikat-syarikat Konsesi Lebuhraya Malaysia. He retired in April 2014, after 20 years serving the group in various capacities and positions.
Currently, he is the Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Lysaght Galvanized Steel Berhad and an Independent Non-Executive Director of MTD ACPI Engineering Berhad, both of which are public listed companies. He also sits as Director in few other engineering and construction companies.
