Energy Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in Energy Management & Audit.
• Handle and conduct detailed energy audits for facilities, operations, and equipment to identify inefficiencies and potential areas of energy savings.
• Analyse energy consumption patterns using advanced tools and techniques.
• Develop, recommend and implement energy efficiency strategies, projects, and technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of energy-saving measures.
• Handle typical and small to medium sized projects comprising M&E Building Services (lighting, Air-conditioning system, pumps systems and other energy -consumption equipment) with minimal guidance.
• Lead a team of engineers and other staff in undertaking small to medium sized multi-disciplinary energy audit project with minimal guidance.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize workloads and meet timelines.
• Manage entire end to end solution design project based on the Best Energy technologies deck
• Manage team competently including running performance reviews, coaching for success, identifying areas for L&D etc.
• Perform all necessary duties from the preliminary/ conceptual design stage until project completion.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field recognised by the Board of Engineers, Malaysia (BEM). A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Registered with BEM as a Graduate Engineer.
• REEM (Registered Electrical Energy Manager / Registered Energy Manager (REM).
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in energy management, energy audits, or related roles
• Proven track record in implementing energy efficiency projects and achieving measurable results.
• Excellent inter-personal skills and a good team player.
