Inspector of Works – C&S (For Pahang Site)

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate site work independently with minimum supervision, good interpersonal skills, meticulous, confident, high analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Perform site supervision and coordination to ensure that the works carried out by the Contractors are within quality standards and correcting specification.
• Check, monitor, inspect, perform quality control checks, and monitor work in progress and final inspection on completed works.
• Report any non-conforming matters found during inspection to RE and follow up with Contractor on the action to be taken.
• Coordinate site work independently, demonstrating a high degree of autonomy and meticulous attention to detail.
• Monitor work in progress, conduct quality control checks, and perform final inspections on completed projects.
• Work closely with the Resident Engineer, following their instructions and guidance.
• Be available for overtime work during regular working hours and on weekends as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma in Civil & Structure Engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience in Civil & Structure works.
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Good command of written and spoken English. Able to write and speak Bahasa Malaysia
• Proficiency in Mandarin as an added advantage
