The Melaka state government plans to build a waste-to-energy (WTE) plant at Sungai Udang sanitary landfill to adress the problem of waste management more effectively. The construction of the station in collaboration with the Housing and Local Government Ministry (KPKT) was necessary due to the urgent need as the landfill in Sungai Udang was expected to reach its maximum capacity by 2023.

The station would be built on 3.2ha piece of land costing RM3.64 million. The BIM solution is applied to the façade design of the plant. LOD 200 is the final output for the BIM Model.
